The de Havilland Aircraft Museum exists to present and preserve the fascinating story of one of the UK’s most innovative aviation pioneer, the company he created and the many aircraft, engines and missiles they produced.
The UK’s oldest Aircraft Museum, it is home to an amazing collection of 26 de Havilland aircraft including no less than 3 examples of the war-winning DH98 Mosquito (the ‘Wooden Wonder’) and the only remaining Comet 1A, the world’s first jet Airliner. There are also numerous piston, jet and rocket engines as well as countless smaller objects associated with the operational careers of the aircraft and the air crew, ground crew, designers and builders who made, used and maintained them.
In addition to an amazing visitor experience, the new hanger facilities provide excellent accommodation for Corporate Events, Business Meetings, Education Groups, Weddings and a whole range of other uses.
